-We discuss the historic Houston folk and singer/songerwriter venue, Anderson Fair and the documentary film "For the Sake of the Song: The Story of Anderson Fair." Anderson Fair is one of the oldest acoustic music venues in continuous operation in the country. Lyle Lovett, Nanci Griffith, Lucinda Williams, Guy Clark, and Townes Van Zandt honed their craft there, and the Montrose club was also a center for community activity and political activism since the 70s. The movie premiered at SXSW in Austin.
